Receiving Criteria Scheme

Receiving Criteria scheme helps define the process of receiving inventory at the warehouse and capturing information.

Receiving Criteria Scheme defines the process of receiving inventory at the warehouse.  The Receiving Criteria Scheme can be applied at the Item settings.  The purpose of the Receiving Criteria Scheme is to capture information when receiving inventory.  The Receiving Criteria Scheme settings will be applied to the mobile app when receiving inventory on the floor.

Create a Receiving Criteria Scheme


1. Navigate to the Receiving Criteria Scheme table in Infoplus by using your quick actions menu.  



2. Once on the Receiving Criteria Scheme table, select the "Create New" button.




3.  The following screen should appear.  Name your Receiving Criteria Scheme. 




4. Each field is required and has three options: 


   

UOM Determine if Unit of Measure needs to be taken into account during receiving.
Units per Wrap Determine if the numeric Units per Wrap of the inventory, or the number of single units that make up the wrapped unit needs to be taken into account during receiving.
Units per Inner Pack
Units per Case Determine if the numeric Units per Case of the inventory, the number of single units that make up a case, needs to be taken into account during receiving.
 Units per Pallet Determine if the numeric Units per Pallet of the inventory, the number of single units that make up a pallet, needs to be taken into account during receiving.
Production Lot Determine if the production lot needs to be taken into account during receiving.
Product Id Tag Determine if the product id tag needs to be taken into account during receiving.
Revision Date Determine if the revision date needs to be taken into account during receiving.
Expiration Date Determine if the expiration date needs to be taken into account during receiving.
Country of Origin

Determine if the country of origin for the inventory needs to be taken into account during receiving.

 

Note: this is a requirement to ship the inventory internationally.

Weight per Wrap Determine if the weight per wrap for the inventory needs to be taken into account during receiving.
Weight per Case Determine if the weight per case for the inventory needs to be taken into account during receiving.
Carton Width Determine if the carton width for the inventory needs to be taken into account during receiving.
Carton Length Determine if the carton length for the inventory needs to be taken into account during receiving.
Carton Height Determine if the carton height for the inventory needs to be taken into account during receiving.

 

5. Apply your Receiving Criteria Scheme 

    a. Navigate to the Item table using your quick actions menu

    b. Edit the item using the double arrows to the right of the item

    c. Under the Operations tab, select the Receiving Criteria Scheme






6. Testing your Receiving Criteria Scheme by receiving an item on your mobile apps. Once on the mobile app, click the Receiving dropdown and select "Receiving".  Type an item SKU or ASN number.  Follow the receiving flow to see your Receiving Criteria Scheme.




Edit/Delete a Receiving Criteria Scheme


1. Navigate to the Receiving Criteria Scheme table in Infoplus by using your quick actions menu. 




2. Select double arrows to the right of the Receiving Criteria Scheme you wish to edit or delete.



3. Select your action.

    a. Edit - Review the fields above

    b. Delete - Receiving Criteria Scheme must be removed from all records before deleting. (See step 5 on Creating a Receiving Criteria Scheme)
