Set Up DoorDash Shipping Through EasyPost
Request the DoorDash carrier, add your carrier facility to a manifest script, and create DoorDash labels.
Is this what I'm looking for?
Use this article when you want to ship orders with DoorDash through your EasyPost account. DoorDash needs a manifest script in InfoPlus. Without it, DoorDash labels will not create.
Important: After you add this script, you cannot rate shop with that parcel account.
This article does not cover setting up other EasyPost carriers or rate shopping rules.

function customizeEasypostPreRatesCall()
{
// Add the carrier_facility to the from_address.
// According to EasyPost this is given by DoorDash
// when the client setups their account
var facility = "TEST-ORIGIN";
shipmentMapForRate.get('from_address').put('carrier_facility', facility);
} - Replace TEST-ORIGIN with your carrier facility value.
- Keep the quotation marks around it.
-
Example: var facility = "YOUR-FACILITY-VALUE";
- Click Save.
- See this article on how to assign Manifest Scripts to an Order.
- Ship a test order with DoorDash Standard.
- Use an address inside your DoorDash delivery area.
- Make sure your ship-from address has a valid phone number.
What You Should See
- DoorDash shows as a carrier option, with the Standard service.
- Your test order creates a DoorDash label.
- The tracking carrier name shows as DoorDash.
- The label will live on the test order and the Shipment table in InfoPlus.
Troubleshooting
If DoorDash labels will not create:
Why this happens: DoorDash needs a carrier facility value on your ship-from address. The manifest script adds it. If the script is missing or still says TEST-ORIGIN, the label fails.
How to fix it: Check that the script is attached to your parcel account. Make sure it uses your real carrier facility value.
If you get a phone number error:
Why this happens: DoorDash requires a valid phone number on every shipment, even in testing.
How to fix it: Add a valid phone number to your ship-from address. This is added to on the Warehouse in InfoPlus on the Phone field.
If an order cannot get a DoorDash rate:
Why this happens: DoorDash only delivers within a set distance of your origin.
How to fix it: Check that the ship-to address is inside your delivery area. Contact DoorDash to confirm your limit.
