How to Uncommit Item Receipts

How to Uncommit Item Receipts for items from the Item Receipt table.

Uncommit Item Receipts

If you need to indicate that a committed item is not actually available for ordering, you can uncommit the item receipt. This changes the status of the item receipt from "Available" to "In Receiving."

You can uncommit one or many item receipts from the Item Receipt table or by running the Uncommit Item Receipt process. Both the table and the process provide the same functionality.

NOTE: If you don't just want to uncommit an Item Receipt, but want to begin the receiving process over again for an item (e.g., because of wrong quantity, wrong warehouse, etc.), you can Unreceive an Item Receipt. This will uncommit and remove the inventory from Infoplus, and allow you to receive the item correctly.
