This Week’s Release: Enhanced permissions and table navigation.
We’re excited to share the latest InfoPlus updates! We've optimized our table navigation to speed up your daily tasks and introduced enhanced permissions to give you precise control over your team's data access.
Here's what is new:
Audit Log permissions can now be restricted!
Previously, all users could view a record's audit log by default. You can now restrict this visibility by disabling the "Read" permission on the Audit Table.
When this permission is removed:
- The "Audit" action is hidden from the record's Actions menu.
- Direct access to the Audit Table is disabled
- While the "Audit" action from the table view remains, clicking it will trigger a permission error for unauthorized users.
Action Required: Access to the audit log on a record is now strictly tied to Audit Table permissions. Please review your user roles: those without "Read" access to the Audit table will lose visibility immediately unless their permissions are updated.
Boost your workflow efficiency with our new Audit Log hotkey. While viewing a record, simply press "a" on your keyboard to instantly pull up the audit log.
Note: This shortcut is designed to open the log view; it does not close the window.
InfoPlus now remembers your preferred number of records per page for every table!
Tired of resetting your table view to see more than 20 records? InfoPlus now automatically remembers your last "records per page" selection for each table. As long as you're using the same computer and haven't cleared your cache, your view will be exactly how you left it.
