Transfers Between Warehouses

To easily transfer inventory between two of your warehouses, you can now create an Order in the source warehouse, and choose the “Transfer” service type.

The new “Execute Transfer” process will then automatically create an open ASN in the destination warehouse for the items on the transfer Order, with matching quantities and other details. The Order and ASN will be linked together to help keep track of everything.

Details on Fulfillment Plans

We have added more available information to the Fulfillment Plan table to help you give an overview of your current fulfillment operation:

  • “Last Run Time” lets you know how long it’s been since you had last run each plan.
  • “Estimated Number of Orders” gives you an indication of how many Orders currently match the plan’s Order Smart Filter.
  • “Current Open Processes” provides an overview of the fulfillment processes based on each plan—the process number, current status, and when it was created.

Also, when viewing a single Fulfillment Plan, you can now see even more details about all of your processes based on that plan.

Browser Performance Improvements

As we continue to optimize more and more of Infoplus, in this release we have focused our efforts on the front end in two specific areas:

  1. All table (or “Query”) screens have been updated to provide a more smooth, responsive user experience. These screens render faster once their data is loaded from the server, won’t slow down when hovering over rows or scrolling, and do better job of keeping up when you choose to show 100 or 250 rows on a page.
  2. For viewing individual records, we have applied a similar optimization to the way we present tables of related data (such as line items on an order or ASN). You’ll especially notice this when you drill down into the Allocation Details under a Fulfillment Process. This particular tab once could crash a browser on large processes. But now, with dynamic rendering of the data, even your largest process will load without issue.

Update on Product Id Tags

While it’s not being released quite yet, we wanted to share progress on successfully completing the first phase of development on inventory tracking and allocation by Product Id Tags. This particular phase of the multi-sprint effort included receiving and fulfillment by Product Id Tags. For our next release, we’ll be porting the apps for Adjustments and Inventory Relocations to our new Warehouse Apps and updating them to work for items that are tracked by Product Id Tags.
