Introduction to Infoplus EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)

Clients use Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to interface with clients and other trading partners. EDI is still widely used and considered the most prevalent means of communication.

Infoplus allows our clients to use Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to interface with clients and other trading partners.  Although we recommend the use of our API whenever possible, EDI is still widely used and considered the most prevalent means of communication and therefore supported by our application.

Note: New EDI Documents Do Not Automatically Run After They Are Created
If you create a new EDI connection, you will need to go through your AS2 partner so the EDI Documents can flow through the right channels to be processed. Otherwise, the new EDI Documents will sit in pending and the connection will not work.
