This Week’s Release: Performance, reliability, and speed. This release is focused on making core operations faster and more dependable behind the scenes.
We've made behind-the-scenes performance enhancements to your inventory tracking experience. We've been fine-tuning the Perpetual Inventory report to make it more reliable and consistent, so when you pull that report, you can trust the data you're seeing.
Our system process monitoring alerted us that some triggers on fulfillment processes weren't firing as efficiently as they should, and we dug in. We discovered unnecessary background activity during allocation lookups. We've tightened that up, reducing system overhead and getting your orders through fulfillment faster.
Shopify V2 is progressing well and we're excited about what's coming! We're not quite ready to launch this week, but migration details and timing are coming soon. Stay tuned!
Your Success, Our Priority
Not every release comes with a flashy new feature, and that's intentional. Some of our most important work happens behind the scenes, strengthening the foundation your operations run on. The improvements in this release reflect our commitment to making sure InfoPlus performs the way you need it to, every single day. Dependable tools are the starting point for everything we're building together.
We're sharing quick tips to help you get the most out of InfoPlus — straight from the team that knows it best.
Pro Tip 💡: Cartonization Not Working? Check These Two Things First
If you're seeing errors or unexpected results when running cartonization, the culprit is almost always one of two things:
1. Missing item dimensions — Infoplus needs length, width, height, and weight populated on every item record before it can assign a carton. You can add these individually in the Item table or bulk load them. (Note: Kit on Demand items are the one exception — dimensions aren't required for KODs.)
2. No carton types set up for your LOB — Infoplus can only suggest boxes it knows about. If you haven't created Carton Types for your Line of Business yet, cartonization will fail. Head to Warehouse Operations → Fulfillment → Carton Type
to set these up.
Once both are in place, Infoplus will automatically recommend the right box size based on what's in the order — saving your team time at the pack station and reducing shipping waste.
