This Week’s Release: Smarter unfulfillment, expanded 3PL billing filters, and a new way to track your dock inventory.

What's New in InfoPlus

Our latest release is focused on giving your team greater accuracy and confidence across key workflows. This update brings targeted fixes to the Unfulfillment process, expanded Fulfillment Plan filtering for 3PL Billing, and a new Dock Date capture on Item Receipts — so you always know when inventory hits your dock. We’re committed to making every release count - for your team and your operations.

You Asked, We Listened!

3PL Billing - Fulfillment Plan Filtering

Users can now filter records in the Order Activity, Order Line Activity, and Carton Activity Tables by their associated Fulfillment Plan — making it easier to bill based on specific fulfillment plans.

Please Note: This filter will only apply to new activity records created through the populate billing data process. Existing records will not be backfilled.

Updates to Unfulfillment Process

We've made continued investments in the unfulfillment process to ensure your team has a smooth, reliable experience across even the most complex order scenarios.

Smarter Unfulfillment: When the same SKU/PO combination exists across multiple Lines of Business, InfoPlus identifies and updates the correct Line of Business during unfulfillment — ensuring the right record is always handled accurately.

Backorder Handling: Backorder lines with no shipped quantity are processed with precision during unfulfillment, maintaining consistent and predictable behavior on orders that never left the warehouse.

Kit on Demand Orders: Hybrid allocation scenarios involving Kit on Demand unfulfill seamlessly, supporting your team across even the most complex order configurations.

Cartonized Orders & Rate Shopping: Cartonized orders can be unfulfilled and immediately followed by rate shopping, keeping your workflow moving without interruption.

Improvements to Item Receipts - Dock Date Capture

Track exactly when inventory hits your dock — not just when it's received. You can now capture a Dock Date directly on the Item Receipt record when receiving with the Modern App.

To enable this feature, a Dock Date setting must first be configured on the Receiving Criteria Scheme assigned to the item. The Dock Date can be set to one of three options: Disabled, Optional, or Required.

Once configured, the Dock Date field will appear accordingly during the receiving process in the Modern App — either as an optional or required field depending on your selection.

Please Note: Quick Receipts do not follow the Receiving Criteria Scheme configured on an item. If the Dock Date is set to Required, users will still be able to complete a Quick Receipt without populating the Dock Date field.

USPS Order Status Updates

For customers using the automatic process to convert parcel services from USPS First Class to USPS Ground Advantage, orders will now correctly maintain their On Order status after being edited — no longer reverting to Pending unexpectedly.

Pro Tip 💡: Cart sync acting up? Before deep-diving into settings, try the "Off-and-On" trick for your order and inventory sync in the Shopping Cart Connections Table. It's the fastest way to resolve minor connection glitches.

Pro Tip 💡: Automate your packing process with Cartonization. If your team is manually selecting box sizes at the pack station, InfoPlus Cartonization can handle that for you. Set up your carton types and let InfoPlus recommend the right box based on item dimensions — faster packing, less waste, and more consistent shipments.
