Reship a Return Order

This will show you how to perform the reship process for any Return Order that you plan on sending back to the customer after running it through the verification process.

Return Orders can only be reshipped if all items from the original order are being reshipped.

For any other case, like shipping out an order that you needed to replace a line item on, you'll want to create a new Order to handle that.

Step 1: Reship Return Order via Actions Dropdown

As the first step says, go to the Return Order you want to reship and select Reship Return Order from the Actions dropdown like so:

Step 2: Review

The next page will allow you to review the projected outcome of the reship action. If there are any issues or errors preventing reshipment, they will be listed here.

If all is correct, you should see this kind of result:

Results

Clicking Submit on the Review page will bring you to the Result page, confirming what actions were taken.

As with above, if all goes well, you should see this kind of result:

As soon as you see this confirmation, the Status on the Return Order will change from QA Completed to Pending Reship

Step 3: Execute Reshipment

There are a few ways you can go about executing the reshipment of the Return Order. The first it to go through the Desktop and the other two are through the Mobile Floor App.

Reship Order No

When a Return Order's status changes to Pending Reship, a Reship Order No is created. You can find this on the Return Order record, here:

You'll notice the Reship Order No matches the Original Order No, but with a ".001" at the end rather than a ".000".

This is the Order that you'll reship, so it's good to have this for reference.

Via Desktop

The fastest and most accurate way to pull up the Reship Order is by going to the Return Order record and clicking the link next to the Reship Order No shown in the screenshot above. That will take you to the correct order where you'll proceed with executing the Reshipment.

Make sure you're on the right record by looking for that ".001" at the end of the Order number. If it shows a ".000", this is not the Reship record and is instead the original Order.

Cartonize Orders
To reship through the Desktop, you will have to cartonize the Order. This is so you can tell InfoPlus what carton dimensions are going to be used for the reshipment, and that information is needed to be able to generate parcel labels.

Create Parcel Labels
After you've cartonized the Order, select the Actions dropdown to create the parcel labels. Now that InfoPlus has been given the information for cartonization, it's ready to ship the package off, and is ready to provide you the labels to do so.

Bulk Ship Parcel Orders
You might think that you can ship the order with the Ship Parcel Order action on the Actions dropdown, but for reshipments, you'll want to do this via the Bulk Ship Parcel Orders instead.

Mobile Floor App Method 1

If you want to reship the order through the Mobile Floor App, you can do so by packing the Order in the Pack Station, then shipping it through the Ship Station.

Mobile Floor App Method 2

Another way to do this through the Mobile Floor App is by going directly to the Ship Station, where you'll build the carton and ship the order.
