Two new capabilities have been added to Infoplus, to give you more control of your parcel labels and order-specific inventory allocation.
In Infoplus, you can now inject custom Scripts into the process that creates parcel labels, allowing you to add your own business rules, giving you more control of your shipments. Some example uses for this feature are:
To use this capability, you need to create a script of type Manifest and assign that script to the orders that you want it to apply to, in the Manifest Script field. You can read more about this feature and learn how to get started using it on our knowledge base.
You can now specify Override Item Receipts for Fulfillment when you create or update an order through the Infoplus API or an Infoplus Script. Previously this feature was only available through the user interface, but now that it is in the Infoplus API, you can set this value on your orders through your API integration into Infoplus. You can also use a script and trigger to update these values for orders.
With this ability, you can make sure that a specific order receives inventory from a specific production lot, PO, or product id tag, by specifying the corresponding Item Receipt's id.
To use this feature, add an overrideReceiptsForFulfillmentList containing itemReceiptId values, under your lineItem objects:
