Product Update: Barcode Scanning, Substitutions and Supplements, Pre-Allocation Weight Estimates

Scan Item Barcodes during Fulfillment Picks

Infoplus has released the ability to scan Items while picking. Choose whether you want to scan the Item’s UPC, SKU or Vendor SKU.  Scanning Items can increase your quality control while doing Fulfillment Picks. When running a Fulfillment Process (or as part of your Fulfillment Plan), select if you want to scan Locations, Items, both, or neither.

    Now you can:

    • Select if you want to scan by the Item’s barcode or the Location of the Item during picking
    • Define what you want to scan while picking by creating a Pick Scan Scheme
    • Select your Pick Scan Scheme automatically by adding it to a Fulfillment Plan or manually during each Fulfillment Process

Read more about how to Create a Pick Pack Scheme in our Knowledge Base.

Create Substitutions and Supplements for Items

The ability to create Substitutions and Supplements for items is now available in Infoplus. Creating a Substitution allows you to easily replace an ordered item with another item. Setting up Supplements for an item will automatically include an additional item with the original item.

    Pre-Allocation Weight Estimates

Get visibility to an Order’s estimated weight when an order is placed in Infoplus. The Pre-Allocation Weight Estimate field allows you to see what the total weight of an order is expected to be before order goes through fulfillment. View this in an order’s record or query for the estimated weight on the Order’s table.

Get more information in the Create/Edit Orders solution article in the Knowledge Base.

New Options in Bulk Load ASN and Quick Receipts

While Bulk Loading Quick Receipts and ASNs, there are a couple of new options for certain fields that allow you to “Default to Last Receipt” or “Default to Item”. Once either of these options are selected, the field will automatically add the value that was used from the prior receipt or directly from the Item record itself.

Learn more about these new options in the Bulk Load ASNs articles in the Knowledge Base.

Reprint Parcel Labels from the Mobile Shipping Station

Quickly reprint an Order or a Carton’s Parcel Label in the Mobile Shipping Station. You may use either the Order’s Number or the Order’s Tracking Number to reprint the Parcel Labels.

Get step-by step instructions on how to Reprint Parcel Labels in the Knowledge Base.
