The big update this week is rate shopping is now available when using eHub! Always feel confident you are getting the best possible rate for your orders with any carrier. Other updates are bug fixes and feature enhancements to ensure the Infoplus experience is as flawless as possible. Keep reading for more details on what was released.
Rate Shopping is now available for Infoplus’ preferred shipping partner, eHub. Infoplus users that have enabled eHub for shipping with USPS can compare shipping costs with other carriers to ensure they are receiving the best possible rate.
To prevent inconsistencies in inventory, Infoplus users are nor blocked from editing Item Receipts to have a Units per Wrap value that is less than the Received Quantity or editing the Units per Wrap to a value that is not evenly divisible by the Received Quantity.
When shipping internationally with DHL eCommerce, if the SKU is longer than 20 characters, orders were getting rejected. Now, when shipping internationally with DHL eCommerce, if the SKU is longer than 20 characters, Infoplus will automatically truncate the SKU so it passes to DHL correctly.
This fix is two-fold. One, if a packer makes a mistake and removes an item from a carton at the pack station, the item was not getting removed from the packing details table as well. Two, if an order is completely unpacked, the packing detail records for the orders remain the same but the Carton ID would be stripped. The expected behavior is for both places to remove the order details, instead of just the Carton ID.
Going forward, if an Infoplus user removes items from a Carton, Master Carton, Pallet, or unfulfilled an Order, the contents will be removed from the Packing Details table and will no longer be linked to that order.
