    Infoplus Product Update - August 20th, 2021

    The Headlines: All-New Knowledge Base FAQ, Error Message Solutions, and Troubleshooting Articles + Enhances External Shipping Capabilities

    Infoplus released some updates, enhancements, and bug fixes last night. Below is a list of all the items that went out with this Product Update. Continue reading for a detailed description of some of the more impactful updates below.

    All-New Knowledge Base Articles for FAQs, Error Message Solutions, and Troubleshooting

    The Troubleshooting section in the Infoplus Knowledge Base just got a major boost. We added in 12 new articles that cover 6 common topics Infoplus users frequent. The topics include: 

    1. Inventory
    2. Orders
    3. Fulfillment
    4. Shopping Carts
    5. Picking
    6. Shipping

    For each topic listed above, there is one article that contains Frequently Asked Questions and Error Messages with what they mean and how to solve them, and a second article with common Troubleshooting scenarios. 

    These 12 articles are part of a series that will continue to develop and grow. We plan to release more topics for both the FAQ/Error Message and Troubleshooting sections within the Knowledge Base.

    Knowledge Base Feedback

    Enhanced External Shipping Capabilities

    You can now add a Line of Business and/or Ship Date when using External Shipping in Infoplus. You can also search by Line of Business or Date on the External Shipping table. 

    Here is exactly what has changed with this update: 

    • Line of Business and Ship Date were both added as searchable criteria
    • When you click ‘Create New’, you can now enter in a ‘Ship Date”
    • You can only see the assigned Line of Business on the table view, not in the details view for a specific External Shipment
    • You can only add a Line of Business to an External Shipment if you Bulk Upload, not if you use the ‘Create New’ button

    Infoplus Now Supports Passport

    Infoplus can integrate with Passport via EasyPost. Passport is a parcel carrier that specializes in international shipping for e-commerce clients. Infoplus can set up Passport as a carrier for you. This makes it more convenient to ship to Australia and other international sites when using Passport via EasyPost.

    For example, Infoplus has made adjustments so that Provinces in Australia are now acceptable address locations to ship to using Passport. For information about how to set up PassPort and connect it to Infoplus go here
