InfoPlus Product Update - October 23, 2026

    InfoPlus September 2026 product update

This Week’s Release Brings more detail to rate shopping, customs declarations for built kits that match what’s in the box, and a faster way for your floor team to adjust inventory, plus a security update and changes to review if you’ve built your own integrations or scripts.

    What's New in InfoPlus

Peak season is close, and this release is about making the weeks ahead run smoothly. You’ll find improvements across rate shopping, international customs, the Mobile Floor App, and freight, along with a look at what to expect through the end of the year. Most of these updates take effect without anything needed on your end. If you ship into the EU or have built your own integrations or scripts, a few sections near the end are worth a closer read.

    Shipping, Freight & Rate Shopping

Rate shop explains when a carrier can’t take the whole shipment
When a carrier can’t rate one or more cartons on a multi-carton order, the order’s audit now records the carrier’s message along with the packaging and destination details, even when rate shopping doesn’t return a rate. You can see exactly why a carrier dropped out instead of guessing.

UPS Ground default for Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico
When an order to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico arrives without a parcel carrier, InfoPlus now applies UPS Ground, the same default used for other domestic orders. Since that may not be the right service for every shipment to these destinations, we’d recommend setting the carrier on these orders yourself, either when the order comes in or before it ships, so they go out the way you intend.

Ship-to email included on parcel shipments
The ship-to email address is now included on parcel shipments sent through EasyPost and eHub. It can appear on commercial invoices for carriers that display it, and some carriers may use it to send shipment updates directly to the recipient.

    SpeedX now available through eHub
SpeedX is now available as a carrier option through eHub. Reach out to our support team if you’d like it enabled for your account.

Tracking updates for every eHub shipment
eHub tracking updates and longer audit entries now come through for every shipment, including those carrying larger update details.

Bulk load carrier information onto existing Bills of Lading
You can now use a spreadsheet template to bulk load carrier information onto your existing Bills of Lading, matched by Bill of Lading No or Bill of Lading ID. Access is controlled by two new permissions, which are added to the Administrator role by default. If other team members will be loading carrier information, an administrator can add these permissions to their roles.

    International Shipping

Built kit customs declarations match the units in each assembly
For kits built by a Job that produces more than one unit per assembly, the customs declaration now lists each component at the quantity and weight for a single unit shipped. Declared contents line up with the package, so labels go through cleanly.

Default price for fully discounted lines
When an order line is discounted 100%, the default price from the item record is now passed to the customs declaration. A zero value wouldn’t be accepted on the customs document, so this keeps those shipments moving.

    Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations

Pick, Pack, and Ship stay quick through the whole shift
The Mobile Floor App includes performance improvements that aim to keep things moving quickly and efficiently as your team works between the pick, pack, and ship stations, even after a long day of orders.

Adjust inventory by quantity added or removed in the Mobile Floor App
When you make an Inventory Adjustment in the Mobile Floor App, you can now enter the total on hand as before, or select to adjust by the quantity you’re adding or removing. Your team can use whichever fits the count in front of them.

Carton changes carry through from the Pack Station
Carton type changes made in the Pack Station now carry through to the Ship Station, and the audit records the change and who made it. You can also clear a scanned carton LPN at the Pack Station and switch back to Skip LPN.

    LPN location quantities stay current
Location quantities now update right away when a receipt is uncommitted, so LPN locations reflect what’s actually there after receiving or relocating.

    Everyday Usability

    Your column choices stay put
The columns you select on a table are now saved for you and stay selected the next time you return to that table.

    Beyond This Release

The sections below cover security, changes for custom integrations and scripts, and what’s coming next, with a note on who each one applies to.

    Security Update:  PHP Vulnerabilities

A quick follow-up to our recent email: InfoPlus is not affected by the recently disclosed PHP vulnerabilities, and your data and account remain secure with no action needed. Customers using the InfoPlus PHP client library will find next steps in that email. Our security team works hard behind the scenes to keep InfoPlus protected, so you can stay focused on running your business.

    For Custom Integrations & Scripts

These affect only customers who have built their own integrations or scripts. If that’s not you, there’s nothing to do.

    Updated connection security standards
As of this release, InfoPlus supports TLS 1.3, the current standard for encrypted connections, and requires TLS 1.2 or higher. Modern browsers and recently built integrations already meet this. If you have an older or custom integration that has trouble connecting to the InfoPlus API after this release, have whoever maintains it confirm it supports TLS 1.2 or higher.

Shopify access tokens begin renewing automatically on January 1, 2027
Shopify is moving to access tokens that expire and renew automatically. If your Shopify connection runs through InfoPlus, this is handled for you. If you’ve built a script that connects to Shopify directly, take a few minutes to confirm the access token isn’t written directly into it, since a saved token won’t carry over once renewal begins.

    On The Horizon

Code Freeze and What to Expect
Our November 5 release will be the last product release of the year. After that, we’ll pause new releases through busy season, so your operation runs on a steady, familiar platform during your highest-volume weeks.

Shopify Version 2 and TikTok Shop
Testing on Shopify Version 2 and TikTok Shop continues to go well, and both are now planned for early next year. We chose to wait so you can bring them on when your team has room to do it right, not in the middle of peak. We’ll share the rollout plan as launch gets closer.

Pro Tips from the InfoPlus Team 💡

We're sharing quick tips to help you get the most out of InfoPlus — straight from the team that knows it best.

Pro Tip 💡:  Shipping into the EU?  Make sure your items are ready for November 1

Starting November 1, EU customs will require product identifiers on shipments into the EU. Customers getting ahead of this have found the item data takes the longest, especially when values have to come from a supplier or brand. A few ways to make the review go faster:

    • Know where each identifier lives. Your SKU is already sent today. The two new identifiers come from Vendor SKU (the manufacturer’s or supplier’s product code) and UPC (a standardized code such as a GTIN or EAN).
    • Check what’s in those fields today. If your team uses Vendor SKU or UPC for something else, those values will now be sent to customs as product identifiers, so it’s worth a review before November 1.
    • Find the gaps with a smart filter. Filtering your Item table for a blank Vendor SKU or UPC turns a long item list into a short to-do list, and a bulk load fills them in faster than one item at a time.
    • Flag your B2B shipments. InfoPlus treats orders as B2C by default, so only business shipments need the Order Property override.
    • Review your incoterm with your carrier. Carriers are recommending DDP for EU shipments. DDP isn’t available on EasyPost PC Postage accounts.

Not every item will have a standardized identifier like a UPC, and that’s OK. Our integrations handle that case for you, so there’s nothing extra to enter. For questions about which values or incoterm fit your products, your carrier account rep is the best source.
