    We are thrilled to unveil a series of significant updates to our powerful WMS software, Infoplus. With a focus on improving user experience, streamlining operations, and resolving critical issues, this update brings a host of new features and bug fixes that will propel your warehouse management to new heights.

    Bug Fix: 3PL Billing Not Calculating Correctly for Daylight Savings Time

    Infoplus users who generate a weekly report encompassing all stored inventory and WMS activity over a 7-day period may have encountered inaccurate outcomes attributed to daylight savings time. Specifically, the issue arose during the week of daylight savings time, resulting in the report only reflecting activity for 6 out of the 7 days during that particular week. Rest assured, this problem has been rectified, and moving forward, all days will be duly accounted for during time change weeks.


    Bug Fix: Update Item Allocation Rules to Allow Users to Adjust

    Previously, Infoplus restricted users from editing items to "stricter" allocation rules once they were created, disallowing them to transition to "looser" rules. For instance, while transitioning from "Labor Optimized" to "Weak" was possible, the reverse transition from "Weak" to "Labor Optimized" was not permitted. This update introduced a significant change by granting clients the ability to modify these rules without submitting a support ticket, thereby offering them greater flexibility and control over their allocations.


    Shopify Maintenance

    In the investigation of the recent Shopify API updates, the development team identified instances where Location ID Overrides were occasionally overlooked, leading to improper reflection of fulfillment statuses in Shopify. We are delighted to inform you that we have promptly addressed and rectified this issue.


    Supplements to Use V2.0 Allocation During Fulfillment

    Supplements are items that are automatically added to an Order during fulfillment, if any line items on the Order have a Supplement set up for them. There are lots of use cases for Supplements, but a couple of general examples would be if a leaflet should be added to an order every time a specific book is ordered, or if extra supplies (such as batteries or a cord) need to be added when certain electronics are ordered. Supplements for items can be set up in the “Supplements” table. More details about Supplements and setting them up can be found in this Knowledge Base article.

    Previously, if there were any Supplements set up for line items on an order, when that order was run through fulfillment, it would be forced to use v1.0 (legacy) allocation, which is significantly slower then v2.0. However, a notable improvement has been implemented. Now, orders containing Supplements will undergo v2.0 allocation during fulfillment. As a result, clients who have been leveraging Supplements should experience enhanced speed and performance throughout the fulfillment process.

    We strongly encourage clients who encounter the described use cases to explore the utilization of Supplements as a viable alternative to the "Add Line Item" trigger action.
